YMCA
ENDOWMENT
The Jamestown YMCA has been part of our community for over 140 years. It is a place of wholesome, healthy recreation; of developing healthy bodies; of renewing one's mental being and building life-long friendships. It is a place for kids to grow.
Through our programs and facilities, thousands of boys, girls, women and men have learned to swim in our swimming programs, played in basketball programs, learned to appreciate one another in our youth department, learned about nature in our camping programs, and shared special moments in our parent / child programs.
The YMCA has had a history of dedicated caring staff who have sought to nurture today's youth into tomorrow's leaders. From Roy
Wagner to Spiro Bello to present day staff, the legacy continues. Many friends of the YMCA have helped to
see that this influence extends beyond their lifetime with gifts of part of their assets that they have accumulated to the YMCA Endowment Fund. This is a gift that
perpetuates values that really matter.

Guest Pass
Those
wishing to try the YMCA for a day may buy a
day pass at the Welcome Center after showing proper identification. We
will photocopy your ID and keep it on file
at the Welcome Center. Day
passes are limited to two per year and are
not available Monday, Wednesday, or Friday

A.W.A.Y.
Program (Always Welcome at the Y)
This
reciprocal membership program allows
Jamestown Area YMCA Members to use
facilities at other participating YMCA's
across the country free or for a nominal fee
(at the discretion of the visited YMCA) when
they are traveling with family or on out of
town business. Inquire at the Welcome
Center for more information and an A.W.A.Y.
card.

Registration Information
Registration
for all programs must be made in person at
the front desk with full payment or register
online. YMCA members may register 3
weeks prior to the start of the class;
general public may register 1 week in
advance. Classes are subject to
minimum and maximum enrollments.
Should a program reach its maximum
enrollment, a waiting list will be
established.

Refunds
and Credits
Program
credits or refunds are issued when a class
is canceled or the schedule is changed. When events beyond our control, such as
weather, cause cancellation of a class, no
refund, credit or make-up class is
guaranteed.
Membership dues paid in full are not
refundable or transferable.

Racquetball
and Squash courts are available for a fee
of $6.00 per hour for YMCA Members and
$12.00 per hour for Potential Members
(includes day pass). Reservations can be
made 24 hours in advance by calling the
Jamestown YMCA at 664-2802 or Lakewood YMCA
at 763-0303.
Tennis courts
are available for reservations at the
Lakewood facility only. Rates for tennis are
$12.00 per hour non-prime; $16.00 prime
time. Please call the front desk for
availability. Potential members playing racquetball or tennis
must pay an additional day pass fee of
$6.00.

Partner With Youth Fund Drive
is held to raise money for membership
